15 Jun Craven and Murray is celebrating its 10th birthday
It’s hard to believe that Craven and Murray has been open in Norden for ten years this June. I can remember standing outside the shop with Wendy the night before our opening day, both of us nervous with excitement and wondering what on earth we’d let ourselves in for.
Ten years on and we haven’t changed much, we still offer a friendly, honest, professional service and we now look after the sight of three generations in some families, so I see that as a good sign of doing something right.
Our team has over 100 years of combined experience and myself, Wendy (my wife, business partner, optician and much better half), Jo, Sarah and Ian (another husband and wife team) always do our best to help customers. It’s a fantastic group to be part of.
In the early days, both myself and Wendy worked in the practice, but now it’s just me as Wendy is busy behind the scenes and she is also responsible for the Minor Eye Condition Service, Mecs for short, in Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale.
We feel lucky to be part of this village community, we really do have the nicest of patients, so thank you for supporting your local opticians for the last ten years. Here’s to the next ten!
P.S. You might be used to a hot cup of coffee when you visit the practice, but we’re swapping it for bubbly during June to celebrate. We hope to see you soon, even if it is just for a little fizz.
